I love to write romantic fiction and I've been doing it since 2001. It's a bit like a chocolate addiction and I can't resist temptation - I'm never happier than when I've got a story brewing in my head. But getting my work into print has taken some time to achieve. I've had a few 'nearly there's' on the way. So biggest advice to aspiring writers? Don't give up, keep going and honing your craft. Each manuscript makes you better. I'm a Romantic Novelists' Association member and here's some info about what I've written to date:

Taking The Leap
My first book in print came out in April 2007 with Moonlit Romance!
Taking The Leap is the story of a sensible nurse, a bad boy doctor, a parachute jump and facing the past.

I love writing romantic short stories and after doing this for many years, I've finally got some of them into print:

September 2007 Candis Magazine featured Night To Remember - my story about a fancy dress hen night gone wrong.

A Tip On Honest Assessment From A Critique Service
After completing my first manuscript and whilst working out what direction I needed to take next I approached a critique service. I used The Hilary Johnson Authors' Advisory Service. My crit was very helpful, frank and honest about opportunities and future direction. I'd highly recommend this move to any new author feeling 'at sea'.
The Hilary Johnson Authors' Advisory Service provides an excellent, highly recommended critique service.
If you feel you need objective help - my advice is go for it!
